The Bunker
When disaster strikes six individuals are forced to take shelter in a bunker deep underground. Trapped together with no contact with the outside world, these conflicting personalities must decide who they can trust, who is telling the truth, and who gets the last can of beans.

Dark and humorous, The Bunker is a new work by local collaborative ensemble, the Creatures of Habit Collective.
“I think it has the right balance of humour and social commentary,” says Meri Davies, circus artist and founding member of the ensemble. “It has a narrative, some politics and a bit of a moral I guess, but if you want to leave your brain at the door and just enjoy some Darwin humour, there's that too!”
Musician and performer Mark Gray explains, “the collective formed through a group of friends with a shared passion for performing who wanted to put something on that was collaborative – a showcase for emerging artists – something that was not really on offer for us at the time.”
Directed by Gail Evans, The Bunker stretches the boundaries of live music, comedy, circus, and physical theatre. Head along to Brown’s Mart and show your support for some home-grown, grassroots theatre.
