Kicking back poolside and catching some rays with a cocktail in hand is a favourite pastime for Top Enders and holidaymakers, our weather always perfect for it.
So the announcement that exciting new hangout, Poolside Hydeaway, is opening at Doubletree by Hilton Darwin this month will be very welcome news to many of you.
Every Saturday and Sunday afternoon, round up your favourites and head poolside for some chilled drinks and lawn games. Try your hand at croquet, giant jenga, ring toss and board games, as you sip on concoctions from the bar in the lush tropical surrounds of DoubleTree.
Conference and Events Executive Eliza Lane says it mixes up the regular drinking sesh.
“It’s a space to reconnect with friends over lawn games and board games, whilst enjoying the beautiful Darwin Dry season and sipping on delicious drinks. Think technology-free and connecting through games – a space to change things up from your usual drinking setting. Plus, as long-time supporters of Cancer Council of the NT through our events, one dollar from every ticket sold goes towards a good cause.”
All tickets include a Lillet cocktail on arrival and shared bar bites. And if you’ve got a special event coming up, you can even score the space exclusively for you and your crew.
