Hilton Hotels are putting on quite the spread this Christmas, with two of their three Darwin hotels offering a Christmas Day package good enough for the man in the big red suit himself!
If you find yourself without Christmas lunch plans – or simply want a break from cooking in a hot kitchen – Hilton has you covered for a festive feast with all the trimmings.
Tickets include a three-hour beverage package, festive novelties – yes, that means crackers and the genius jokes that come with them – a gift for the kids, and a visit from Santa Claus.
And then, there’s the food… Think honey-glazed Christmas ham with grilled pineapple, slow-roasted turkey with olive and cranberry relish, grilled barramundi with dill and creamy caper sauce, and slow-cooked lamb shoulder with fruit roulade and rosemary jus. Delish.
But we’re not done yet. There’s hot crusty bread, cheese platters, NT prawns, fresh oysters, Mediterranean pasta salad, fresh garden salad with pomegranate dressing, and broccolini, walnut and Persian feta pear salad.
And, of course, there’s dessert! If you’ve still got room in your belly, tuck into some traditional Christmas pudding, Yule log and walnut pie. And no Christmas feast would be complete without a fresh pav with fruit and cream!
