Foodie Fridays at Darwin Surf Club

If Friday night’s dinner plans aren’t sorted yet, why not head to the Darwin Surf Club? It’s one of the the newest (and best) ways to see in the weekend, with food served up from Cafe De la Plage and Jetty & The Fish, and icy cool bevvies available from the Surf Club. Oh, and that signature Top End sunset. Okay – if we have to!

DARWIN SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB

FORMED IN 1982, THE DARWIN SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB (DSLSC) provides a volunteer beach safety service to the Darwin community. In that time, they’ve clocked up more than 25,000 hours of patrol time at no cost to the community. Friday nights at the Surf Club are becoming more social and they invite you to come and take a look.

The bar opens to members and guests from 5pm Friday and 4pm on Sunday. The club is licensed, and offers cold drinks to members and visitors at reasonable prices – so next time you head along, be sure to leave the esky at home and support your local surf club.
