If you haven’t heard of Jetty and the Fish yet, you’ve been living with your head under the water. What started as a whimsical idea for Kate and Grant - partners in fish and partners in life – has now resulted in Darwin’s top rated restaurant on Trip Advisor.
Inspired by their love of the Nightcliff foreshore and the nostalgia of fish and chips by the ocean, the hopeful pair purchased a trailer, painted it red, and set up camp to sell their ocean delights to the setting sun.
The menu includes fish, chips, calamari, and their specialty fish tacos, at reasonable prices. With comments like ‘the best fish and chips in Darwin’ and ‘the cod-mother of fish and chips’, it’s clear Kate and Grant have found the winning recipe for success.
Pop on down to Nightcliff, pay Jetty and the Fish a visit, and enjoy that beautiful Darwin sunset – you’ll have a whale of a time, foreshore.
