It’s Just a Jump to the Left...
IT’S ASTOUNDING. Time is fleeting. Madness takes its toll. But listen closely – you won’t want to miss this special screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Precinct Tavern.
RSPCA Fundraising Manager Kacie Austin says a volunteer threw the idea around of screening Rocky Horror to raise funds, and they thought it was a perfect fit.
“The volunteer thought the movie was a good fit for us – celebrating all creatures great and small,” she says.
The RSPCA are hoping to reach their $5000 fundraising target to help the no-kill shelter continue to provide services for animals in need while they wait for their fur-ever home.
“Every dollar raised will go directly to our Darwin shelter,” Austin says.
No Rocky Horror night would be complete without some added entertainment… The night kicks off with local drag queens and roving performers, before the movie screens at 6.30pm.
Don’t forget your dancing shoes and costume – there’s prizes up for grabs for best dressed and best dancer.
