This exhibition speaks to the modernist alienation from nature, utilising the format of an IKEA-esque display home as the setting for an apocalyptic allegory. 90 Seconds to Midnight follows the parallel timelines of modernity, abstraction, modernist design, industrialisation, the atomic bomb, the great acceleration, domestic consumption, post-war anxiety, and mass production.
