John Mawurndjul: I am the old and the new

CDU Art Gallery is delighted to present a survey exhibition by one of Australia’s leading contemporary artists – master bark painter John Mawurndjul AM – a Kuninjku artist from Milmilngkan, Arnhem Land.

Developed and co-presented by the Museum of Contemporary Art and Art Gallery of South Australia, in association with Maningrida Arts & Culture, this landmark touring exhibition includes over 50 works, spanning 40 years of the artist’s practice.
