The first Sounds @ Sunset for 2019 will be the musical pre-party for everyone gearing  up for BASSINTHEGRASS.

Producer Donald Sanger has lined up local musicians to get revellers in the mood.

“It’ll be a pre-BASS warm up gig  so the vibe will be a bit of a party,” Sanger says.

“The idea is high energy music to get people ready for BASS the next day.”

Sounds @ Sunset returns after a successful year in 2018, which saw emerging producers organise a series of public concerts on the foreshore with great success. 

The program up-skills young Territorians with a passion for the music industry, and provides young musicians more stage time to refine their performance skills.

Sanger says each month’s event in 2019 will have a theme. 

“After this first gig the next few will have different themes, so the next one might be all about dogs, so people can brings their pets along, or one for kids so there’s more music for families,” he says.
