Sounds @ Sunset Volume #2

Jack Buckley will be riding the wave of May’s inaugural Sounds @ Sunset for the second installment of the popular musical arvo.

Buckley, 23, recently returned home to Darwin after studying in Brisbane, and has programmed June’s event, featuring Ben Quinn from Silk Village, Casey Glennon and Lucy Meehan-Lee.

Local comedian, MC, communications manager and all-round legend Amy Hetherington is mentoring young people in event management for the LAUNCH Darwin program.

Buckley says he signed up to get more experience in the industry.

“I really wanted to further develop my event management skills professionally,” he says.

“This is a good opportunity to learn the ropes and to have the support of Amy Hetherington and Darwin City Council has been really great.”
