The 10th Offcuts show

Celebrating its 10th year, this annual charity fundraising art ruckus, presented by the infamous Don Whyte is an arts calendar highlight.

As the name suggests, the show was born from leftover offcut canvases – each year these 20 by 20cm frames are distributed and transformed by local artists. Contributors decide how much their piece is worth and how much from the sale they want to donate, with the proceeds from your purchases going to local charities.

“We’ve given money for preschool shade cloths, electric wheelchairs in Elcho Island, art supplies for East Timor,” said Whyte.

With a prize for the best food (guests are encouraged to bring a plate) this most certainly won't be a cheese and crackers event.
