The Wiggles’ brand-new, record-breaking show is heading to Darwin with the whole gang, including Emma, Lachy, Anthony, Simon, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Cap-tain Feathersword, Wags the Dog and Henry the Octopus.
The 27-year veteran Blue Wiggle, Anthony Field, sat down with Off The Leash to tell us more.
Are you excited to be coming back to Darwin?
Yes, we’re all very excited to be coming back to Darwin soon!
What do you like about Darwin? And what excites you to be coming back?
We love visiting the Top End of Aus-tralia where the weather is warm, the people have warm hearts and there’s always a great atmosphere at our shows!
What’s different about it to other shows?
Every show we do is different from the last. Each audience is totally different and unpredictable, so we never know what to expect, but it’s always a great, fun time.
Are you getting up to much while you are here?
We’re hoping to visit the night markets and watch the beautiful sunset on Mindil Beach.
What’s the best part about being a Wiggle?
All the shows we’ve done, the music we’ve made, and meeting our audiences over the last 27 years.
If you weren’t a Wiggle, what would you want to be doing?
I’d probably be a chiropractor.
What’s your favourite song to perform together?
We always love performing ‘Do The Propeller!’.
