Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow

Buckle up, Melbourne Comedy festival is hitting the road to home deliver its freshest and funniest comedic talent.

For the price of one ticket you get five comedic acts in an all-killer, no-filler cast of stars for one night only. This year the line-up includes Aussie favorites Cal Wilson, Josh Earl and Hannah Gadsby, as well as talented newcomer Daniel Connell and funny man Carl Donnelly from the UK.

Between them, they’ve got all your comedy bases covered, and most destinations across Australia too with over 80 stops across the country on the itinerary, including Katherine and Alice Springs. And if you happen to know anyone in East Asia or India, this year the tour is also popping over there. That’s a lot of fun to be done.

Aussie TV, radio and standup comedian Josh Earl reckons the best part of being on the tour is going to places you’ve never been, and for him, that’s Darwin.

“I’ve heard great things. First I’ll probably try and buy a record from a local artist. The rest of the time I think I’ll be next to the pool, thinking about how cold all my friends are in Melbourne,” he said.

Earl says the Roadshow gigs are always amazing, and wholeheartedly recommends attendance.

“They’re always so varied, and just when you think it can't get funnier, there’s another act in the wings to up the ante. It’s the best.”

Basically this is your chance to clock two and half hours of solid laughs. So get on board, grab your mates and get giggling as the ultimate comedy road trip rolls into town.
