PRESENTED BY BROWN’S MART PRODUCTIONS AND THE ROYAL NATIONAL THEATRE OF JINGILI, something’s rotten in the Cooters’ backwoods cabin – and it’s not just Grandma’s guts.

A blood moon’s soon to rise – once more activating the Cooter curse, caused by a dire and dreadful secret from the kinfolks dim, dark past. 13 chillun’ lie buried in the Cooters family plot and another one is set to join them. Mama’s missing and Pa’s gone mad. Will the remaining siblings counter the curse and live to tell the tale, or will the graveyard bell yet again sound its doleful toll?

This physical, musical comedy of horrorful hilarity features members of The Royal National Theatre of Jingili, a gifted group comprising some of Darwin’s most talented comedic performers including long term, multi-talented Darwin theatre makers Gail Evans, Nicola Fearn, Tania Lieman and Yoris Wilson who have recently welcomed Ciella Williams to the fold. Having performed together on many occasions in different incarnations, their style is physical comedy, using no set and virtually no props to create multiple characters, sound effects and story.

The Cooters are just dying to meet you…
