It doesn’t happen often, but it’s happening soon. Hotel Red are hitting the rails to celebrate the festive season.
Hotel Red was born when Dan Davies asked Annie Gastin, who’d hung up her singing hat, to give it another shot.
Whether you’re partial to killing it on the dance floor, or just soaking up some great sounds from the likes of Etta James, Al Green, BB King, Taj Mahal and Nina Simone, their grooves are irresistible.
“One of the great things about playing in this band is looking out and seeing people having so much fun,” reckons Gastin, who along with her bandmates has been play-ing in various groups around town for 30 years.
If you’re a local you’ll know how hot this band is – Gastin on vocals, Davies on bass, a massive horn section, plus Irish treasure Brendan Wakely on guitar, and Alan Murphy keeping it all together on drums.
Hotel Red emerges rarely, so get your mates together and party!
