NT Song of the Year Winners
Baker Boy continues his reign as the Northern Territory’s top musical powerhouse after coming home with three awards at the 2018 NT Song of the Year Awards.
Hit track ‘Mr La Di Da Di’, written by Danzal James Baker, Dallas Woods, Dion Brownfield and Jerome Farah took out the prestigious NT Song Of The Year and the Youth Category.
Baker also won the Urban/Hip Hop award for ‘Marryuna’, written with Yirrmal Marika, Dion Brownfield, Jerome Farah.
Music NT executive Director Mark Smith says the awards recognise the strength of the music coming out of the Territory.
"The Awards celebrated songs that have captured the nation in 2018, from Baker Boy to Dr G,” he says.
“The NT is represented on stages and radio stations across the nation and MusicNT is proud to honour some of the most exciting songs in the country.”
