A Jazzy Broadway Christmas
IF YOU ARE FEELING FESTIVE AND LOOKING FOR A FAMILY FRIENDLY MUSICAL EXPERIENCE, the Darwin Chorale is offering up an exciting start to the holiday season.
A local community organisation which has been performing in and around Darwin for more than 30 years, the Darwin Chorale is bringing a bit of Broadway to the Top End.
The Darwin Chorale’s Christmas cabaret works its way through Christmas inspired songs from musicals including Elf, The Sound Of Music and How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Classics such as ‘Winter Wonderland’ and ‘Let It Snow’ also make an appearance, with comedic selections including songs from Monty Python’s Spamalot. Timeless classics from Billy Joel, Elvis Presley and Quincy Jones are also highlights.
The Chorale performs their jazzy Broadway Christmas cabaret over two nights with more than 60 singers and a seven-piece band filling the Darwin Entertainment Centre’s Studio Theatre with that unmistakable holiday cheer – make a real evening of it and book a table and supper package.
