Adelaide River Music Muster

Joined by Beccy Cole, The Radiators, Shaun Kirk, Dallas Steele Band, David Spry, Kim Koole, Jenni Boon, Kevin McCarthy’s Old Darwin Town show, Eddie Obara, and Beverley MacShannig – this year’s festival has doubled in size and features a whole new stage to accommodate so many acts.

Utes will also be mustered, and pulled, with a $2000 prize pool spread across Best Town Ute, Best Country Ute, Best Chick’s Ute and for the first time Best Gay Pride Ute. In the Ute Pull, teams of four (two blokes, two sheilas) will haul a ute over 20 meters. And what muster would be complete without a good dose of bush poetry? Prizes for poems will total $1000 – and all competitions over the weekend will be voted on by the whoops, hollers and cheers from the crowd.

So quit the city, pull on the cowboy boots, slap on a cowboy hat and enjoy a day of fantastic music in stunning Adelaide River. Gates open at 12 midday.
