SCHOOL’S OUT FOR, WELL, WINTER!
The kids are on school holidays and you might be wondering how you’ll keep them entertained – without breaking the bank, that is. As it turns out, there’s plenty to do with the young ones on the cheap. We’ve done the groundwork to help you plan your July school holidays.

Bounce and Play Fun Day
While everyone ‘down south’ feels the chill this month, Top Enders get to delight in the Dry season warmth, splashing about in the sunshine to cool off. Treat the kids with a swag of fun activities including giant bubbles, inflatable obstacle course, a jumping castle and the mother of all slip‘n’slides.

Sports Play Fun Day
It’s no secret the little ones have an excess of energy (really, where do they get it from?) so it’s nice for them to be able to expend some of that energy in a fun way with their pals. Activities include AFL Aus Kick, flag races, tug of war, egg and spoon races, an inflatable hockey field, rugby workshops with NRL NT, come and try soccer sessions and mini games with YMCA.

Craft and Play Fun Day
Kids love getting creative in their free time and this Fun Day is all about making things. They can learn how to make playdough, create their own slime workshop, build and construct out of LEGO bricks, try their hand at sand art, and craft and grow grass heads. Fun!

Movies
Kick back in the air-con with fun flicks at 2pm every Mon to Wed during the school holidays. Screenings are free and there are no bookings required.

Family Groove
It’s time to bust a move with the fam in this fun disco session! Children and their families are encouraged to bust a move. Everyone’s invited but bookings required, and children under eight must be accompanied by a grown up. Don’t forget that each family member attending needs to book a ticket!

Amazing Drumming Monkeys

Nitmiluk Gorge Boat Tour
Enjoy a cruise down Nitmiluk, the Jawoyn name for Katherine Gorge. Take in the sights and sounds of the trees, birds and water life of the first two gorges.
