Royal Darwin Show

ROLL UP, ROLL UP – IT’S SHOW TIME!

The 65th Royal Darwin Show returns this month, offering three action -packed days for the whole family. This year’s theme is A Taste of the Territory, celebrating all things local. Categories include things grown and crafted in the Territory, as well as activities celebrated in the region, like lure making and spear throwing.

Show-goers can also expect to see the regulars including decorated cakes, giant pumpkins, exotic birds, flowers, arts and crafts and, of course, adorable baby animals. On the topic of animals, be sure to check out the prize bulls, dogs, ducks and the impressive Ring of Fire Display by the Australian Horse Academy. There’s entertainment galore with roaring V8s carving it up on the main arena, kids’ entertainment group The Amazing Drumming Monkeys and a host of live and local music, performances and art.

So show up to the Royal Darwin Show and Taste the Territory.
