Your free what's on guide to the NT

By Tierney White

What do Paris, Milan and New York all have in common? They’re all fashion hot spots – and the NTeen Fashion Festival might just land the Northern Territory on that list!

For the first time since its inception, the 2015 Apex Australia Teenage Fashion Awards has grown to include the Northern Territory. The NTeen Fashion Festival is the Territory-wide competition to showcase the creative talents of students aged 13-19, and the cream of the crop will compete against other fashionistas at the AATFA finals held in Melbourne in October.

Young people interested in fashion, design, and textiles are encouraged to enter, and demonstrate their creative flair through a friendly and supportive competition. Not only will participants get to share their cherished creations with likeminded people, they’ll also get the chance to join in a range of workshops, designed to nurture creativity and encourage self-esteem. Don’t miss the opportunity to show the Territory what you’ve got, and the chance to show Australia what the NT has to offer on the national catwalk.
