Max Bowden - What was supposed to happen

To celebrate the end of 2020, Paul Johnstone Gallery showcases the works of three extraordinary artists in one exhibition, Cecily Willis, Danny Murphy and Max Bowden. Together, these artists exemplify the extraordinary creative talent that resides within the Northern Territory.

Cecily and Danny are both exceptional ceramicists, whose works have been shown and collected across Australia, while admired artist Max Bowden presents an intimate selection of oil paintings, executed in and around Darwin.
