Often inspired by dreams and visions real and imagined, art has long attempted to express that which is beyond our immediate understanding – the internal, the spiritual, a feeling. Filtered through culture and time, these concepts have been visualised and conveyed in a myriad of ways. This exhibition is an exploration of these themes.
