Beam Me Up, Kate

Created during the COVID-19 lockdown via Zoom, SLIDE Youth Dance Theatre presents Beam Me Up, Kate – a work of hope and humour. 

It's the year 2020. In the aftermath of a global pandemic, 10 Gen Zs gather in the middle of a field of wildflowers, gazing with hope toward interstellar space. Meanwhile, in a galaxy far, far away, the Golden Record sent into space aboard 1977s Voyager Mission has landed in the expert hands of H.O.P.E Inc. of the planet Makemake.
