1,000 students perform in the Beat Festival, the NT Department of Education's annual performing arts showcase. Each year the three shows in September typically feature a 250-voice choir, 30-piece orchestra, dance groups, rock bands, soloists and other music ensembles and talented vocalists from ages 12 to 18.
